Why Spirituality?

WHY SPIRITUALITY?

My rational mind analyzes, separates and examines aspects of
the world I see and interpret. It is the faculty that
experiences and perceives suffering within me and without
me. My heart is affected by my rational thinking. My
rational thinking may try to 'rationalize' causes of
suffering and proscribe cures. My rational mind may simply
give up and declare suffering inexplicable. Hence, my
heartfelt self may experience sadness at the state of the
human condition, or despair, even depression, or cynicism.

My non-rational mind [what some call the irrational]
synthesizes, attempts to see the wholeness of things. My
non-rational mind is often referred to as my intuitive mind.
