Spyware is software that is secretly installed on a personal computer in order to take partial control or to intercept the users computer without the users permission. Besides monitoring a computer users actions, spyware technology can also be used for far more frequent actions in monitoring a users behavior. Some actions of spyware software include collecting personal information, redirecting your Web browser to different sites, install additional software, and sending advertising revenue to third parties.
